Aim

The Good Retreat is a business project aimed at encouraging individuals to perform good and respectful deeds with no money incentive.

Hi I’m Sonny, and I’m currently a student at the University of York. I find myself constantly with small periods of free time outside of work/university, where I don’t use it effectively. However, as of recently I have decided to begin The Good Retreat. I want it to encourage people to come together and support one another! I came up with this idea as I have found out even the smallest of greetings to those who you pass by on the street can really make you feel better about yourself, and improve your mental wellbeing, as well as others’. Thus, I created The Good Retreat to encourage real kindness, and to ignore the incentive of money to do such actions. I’m giving 100% of net profits to cancer research UK.
