Help The Cottage Inn survive COVID-19 !!!!! Pay-Forward for our future services or make a donation
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for some businesses to survive.
We have found that we are one of those businesses that currently falls between the cracks in the Governments support packages, i.e. do not qualify for the government small business grants & too small to easily secure the government backed loans. We're not asking for charity (but won't turn it down!), there is an option to Pay-Forward for our services by purchasing a voucher to spend on meals, beverages or accommodation redeemable at a future date when this crisis is over. Any donations, whatever the size, are also most welcome! Every little bit helps & will be most gratefully received.
Our regulars know that we keep our prices 'keen', we make a living not a fortune & losing half of our busy season will leave us vulnerable.
Funds raised will help us survive this nightmare by ensuring our staff receive their full wage and our fixed overheads are met whilst we wait this one out.
In the meantime, to support our community, we're offering a takeout/delivery service with grocery & fresh produce deliveries for Dunstan & Craster. Obviously, without the tourist trade in this rural area the scope of this is pretty limited so we'll spend the rest of the time sprucing the place up ready for your return.
