Launching Online Women's Eco Boutique, Devon based

Aim

To launch an online boutique for women passionate about eco-friendly & sustainable shopping and use it as a platform for local businesses.

After successfully running Miss Ivy Events for many years, and using it to promote sustainability and create a platform for local businesses in the South West, lockdown left us unable to continue with this side of our business. 

Determined to not let that stop us, we adapted and created an idea for a virtual shop that could still be a platform with the same values as our events. We will use the money raised to help launch our online shop and website. 

So what is our idea: The go-to emporium for environment loving, stylish women. Our boutique is filled with an array of jewellery, underwear, socks, scarves, soaps, beauty products and much more. For ladies who are passionate about sustainable and eco-friendly shopping, we have an amazing selection of accessories, made by local businesses, that are all produced sustainably and kindly to mother nature. From bamboo socks and Stripe & Stare knickers, to upcycled jewellery and organic soaps. Whatever your accessory need, the boutique has you covered. Not to mention, all our packaging is totally eco-friendly too! 

Our founder, Jo, has always been very passionate about advocating for sustainability and supporting local business. For years, she has been creating platforms to help promote South West based entrepreneurs through Miss Ivy Events, however lockdown has prevented Jo from being able to continue running these amazing events. This year has given many of us the time to rethink our priorities, and particularly for Jo, she felt an increased desire to encourage environmental consciousness. This combined with Jo’s continued dedication to aiding local businesses led to the creation of The Chic Eco Boutique.
