Aim

To begin sustained global education reform rooted in the neurobiological evolution and wellbeing of neurodivergent children and young people

Hello, I’m Seanín Friel, founder of The BodyMind Connection Children’s Foundation.

I’ve spent the last year developing and refining an approach to education and wellbeing for neurodivergent children and young people that looks at the whole child — their mind, body, nervous system, learning, and emotional world together. The Trust has grown out of real research, lived understanding, and a deep belief that children thrive when they are supported in ways that truly fit who they are.

Education, health and wellbeing must be treated as one, otherwise, it doesn't work.

Special thanks to my mentor and great, great friend, Dr Joseph Delaney, who has supported and initiated the goal of reform, and had my back through every challenge and setback. There have been many!

The BodyMind Connection Children’s Foundation has been created to help bring about a better future for children who are often misunderstood, overwhelmed, or left without the specialist support they need. Our vision is bold but simple: to develop free, transferable, neurobiologically informed education plans, school structures, and training models that can be shared widely, so that more children can experience safety, belonging, learning, and joy.

We believe every child deserves an education that helps them flourish from the inside out. This means building environments that support regulation, wellbeing, confidence, and natural learning — especially for children with AuDHD, autism, ADHD, and those affected by complex trauma.

We are now asking for your support to help us take this next step. Crowdfunder funding will help us build the foundations of the Trust, develop our materials and framework, and begin bringing together the specialist people who can help make this vision a reality. With your help, we can create something that does not just support children, but transforms what education, wellbeing and human evolution can be, for every child.

Nomatter how difficult their journey so far, there is more than hope.  Real, lasting and permanent wellbeing is possible, and that's why we are here.
