Theatres Trust Festive Fundraiser

Aim

Help us this festive season by making a donation which will enable us to champion the future of theatres in communities everywhere.

Theatres Trust is a small charity with a big job to support all 1,100 theatre buildings throughout the UK. 

We work with theatres of all sizes around the country, ensuring they can continue to provide welcoming spaces for their audiences to enjoy performances and take part in activities. 

We do this with through our free advice service, campaigning and grant giving.

Theatres have faced a tough few years, with the pandemic and sadly, they are still struggling, with reduced funding and increasing costs. 

So our work is now more vital than ever.

Just a few examples of how our grants have helped theatres:

• Rich Mix in the East End of London installed a new infrared hearing system, opening its work up to wider audiences
• Sheringham Little Theatre refitted its cafe so it can provide a safe warm space for the local community to gather
• An Lanntair in Stornoway installed solar panels, with the aim of being able to make shows from 100% renewables in the next two to three years
• Theatres at Risk Burnley Empire received funding towards surveys and health & safety reports, to enable it to allow the public inside the building for the first time in years and prioritise repairs so it can be restored.
