The Morning After - A SHORT FILM

Aim

The Morning After is a short film about sex, intimacy and authenticity?. The film is my Final MajorProject for my Masters. The film is set in London around the life of Harry and the turning point in understanding his own identity. Written and directed by Bruno Collins. Filming will commence at the end of July 2011. We will be filming on the Cannon 5D Synopsis Harry is shocked to wake up one morning to discover that he is in bed with Thom. The night before is a blur but the blanks start to fill in sending Harry on a journey of self-discovery. He forced to confront himself, his desires and make a choice on how to lead his life. But it s not as easy when he has to choose to give up someone he loves to achieve happiness. Cast Currently I am in the middle of casting, but my ideal casting is along the lines of Harry Early 20 s, Deliberately Trendy Ideal casting Aaron Johnson/ Penn Badgley Thom Late 20 s/Early 30 s Casually dressed, self assured confident Ideal casting Chris Hemsworth Lucy Mid 20 s, well kept, self-consciously in style. Sure of herself Ideal casting Olivia Wilde Jess Early 20 s girl next door, wide eyed in appearance Ideal casting Alison Brie Crew I don t have a solid crew confirmed as of yet but I will be mainly using fellow students at the University of Hertfordshire

Synopsis

I don’t have a solid crew confirmed as of yet but I will be mainly using fellow students at the University of Hertfordshire
