The purpose is the prevention and relief of poverty in and around the area of the High Peak Borough Council in Derbyshire. At present the activities consist of operating food banks, which also provide signposting and work and skills training for job-seekers.

High Peak Foodbank is part of Zink. As well as issuing emergency food parcels, Zink helps resolve presenting issues through our advice service and supports long term resolution by supporting beneficiaries to get jobs. In addition we offer a range of wellbeing activities to help people improve or manage their mental health and a community eco-cafe which offers nourishing meals very cheaply, half price to those on benefits and free to foodbank users. This warm space is open to all over this winter to bring people together.
