Aim

We at The Youth Booth have relaunched our much needed Grab and Go Free Breakfast Service and we need your help as the number of users grow!

IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD... And a community to feed the borough!

We have proudly reopened our much needed Grab and Grow Breakfast Service in 2023 and our number of users are rising at a bit of a saddening rate. 

How it works: 

We operate from our Community Hub and Coffee Shop, Monday to Friday (term time). Any school age child can come along between 7.30-8.15am and take whatever they need for the day - COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE and NO QUESTIONS ASKED. 

Logistics And Finance

We are very fortunate to be partnered with some local shops that give us their additional/excess foods which we can give out - these normally consist of bread/pastries and rarely but sometimes fruits. 

However, we are fully aware that these aren't the healthiest options, but when it's free, we feel it's important to distribute to those in need anyway. 

This is where we come in, we (The Youth Booth) pay for the other supplies such as Cereal Bars, Fruit, Cartons of fresh fruit juice at a cost of around £1.50 per child. 

Numbers! 

Right now, we're seeing 30-40 children each morning and at a cost of around £1.50 each, it's expensive (around £300 per week)! This is why we're screaming out for help as we really need to stay on the ground helping those that need it during these uncertain and testing times.
