We are creating a space for our community. Through a community café, community vegetable garden and by running skill based workshops.

The building you can see behind us has been standing since 2008 and has served a great number of people as a phase 2 Children's Centre. Unfortunately it is unable to continue running in it's current format and The Treehouse will be taking over the lease to keep the building open to the community.
We are currently having building works done internally ready for our exciting opening!! We would love to raise some funds to help with our startup costs to ensure we can welcome everyone with open arms.
We have big plans:
The Treehouse is becoming a community café. But there is more.
This café
We are in an area with a 28% rate of of childhood poverty hidden within a wealth/poverty divide which we have seen the evidence of through the running of our early year’s music groups as Music for Families ; we have been fundraising to continue allowing free access to these after government funding cuts meant they were at threat of closure. It has become clear over time that the people within our community require more than we can offer in a one-hour session per week.
News article outlining the issues facing the children in our community.
Why a community fridge would be a valuable asset to our town.
We will be keeping the building open that has been at the heart of our community for the last 11 years. It has supported many families through good times and bad times and that is what we want to continue doing.

This is our story. This is our dream.
