Aim

A self-published children's book to raise funds for our kids' school. Want to know more? Read on! Fund us!

The tortoise that ran too fast is a book for children created, written, illustrated, designed and published by three parents of four children that attend an independent co-educational school in Brighton.

We believe that our children should have educational, physical and emotional freedom, stability and a strong sense of support from their family and community.

We have chosen to educate our children at a school that allows us to strengthen this sense of community.

We have a background in writing, publishing and illustrating, and felt compelled to work on a project that both we and our children could enjoy and that, at the same time, was able to generate some funds that the school could use.

This is as much about volunteering to provide for needed materials, books, toys, trees, etc., as it is about showing our children that being self-sufficient, entrepreneurial and creative can be fun and also yield positive results.

We are really enjoying working on this project, and we hope you will want to be a vital part of it by helping us fund it...

... not to mention reading the book with your little ones once our venture comes to an end!
