Aim
I want to raise money for the #GiveTheWorldAShot campaign by Vaccinaid. It aims to deliver 2 billion vaccines to people across the world.
I want to raise money for this cause as everybody deserves to be protected against covid-19 and have a shot at life. I think access to the vaccine across the world is deeply unequal. Some Londoners can now access the covid-19 vaccination by simply getting on a double decker bus! This, compared to other countries where vulnerable people might not access their life changing first dose until next year at the earliest is not acceptable. I have been assisting the vaccination roll out as a volunteer, and seen first hand how relieved people have been to get vaccinated. It is the light at the end of the tunnel and has given people hope of getting their lives back to normal.

The pandemic hit the UK hard. With vaccines rolling out, we’re beginning to win the fight against COVID-19.
We can’t stop there. Now the rest of the world needs our help. In places like India, where cases have risen dramatically, hospitals are overwhelmed and oxygen supplies are running out. And when one country is at risk, we’re all at risk.
