New stretch target
The extra funds we raise will go towards the development of some wicked ideas and hopes we have; running courses, further self defense courses and development of further wellbeing courses.
It's simple. We want as many people in our wonderful community to have the knowledge and skills to look after their head and body.

Join us in making a meaningful impact on our community's mental health and men's wellbeing. We understand the struggles and uncertainties of today's world all too well, especially the heartbreaking toll it takes on our sons, brothers, and fathers.
As two local dads—one a mental health nurse and the other a passionate Crossfit and weightlifting enthusiast—we wanted to alleviate the suffering and make a difference. We came up with a unique yet simple idea: a hands-on approach to help men in our community nurture their minds and bodies. This led us to establish Stand Tall, a not-for-profit organization built on the values of connection, resilience, and growth. Check out more info here
Our goal raise awareness of what we are doing and to continue to be able to run our Strength and Wellbeing Course for as long as possible. Our free 8 week course consists of two parts: learning to lift weights and exploring mental health and wellbeing in our workshops in the same session. By combining physical and mental wellness, we empower individuals to become ambassadors of their own wellbeing. Every penny raised will go towards providing this course for free to our community. We firmly believe that access to learning, skill-building, community support, and self-care should never be limited by one's financial situation.
We also run the 'Stand Tall Sit Down', where we host monthly guest speakers who cover a whole range of expertise and who have stories to tell. Its free and open to everyone. More info here
In 2023, we (Paul and Chaz Stand Tall Founders) embarked on a monumental journey on May 19th. We walked from the Peak of Pen Y Fan to the Peak of Y Wyddfa (Snowdon), covering over 100 miles with an ascent of approximately 8000 ft over 4 days, with kit. This year, we are setting off from Sea Level (Cardiff Bay) to Pen Y Fan and back over 48 hours.
