With the funding from this, The Space event will be able to continue with more guest interviews from the world of the arts and culture.

by The Space in Brighton, , United Kingdom

Since 2006, The Space has been holding regular arts, entertainment and media-related events in Brighton, at intimate venues. We have had many great guests, interviewed about their work, with audience Q&As. Most events had two people, usually successful and high profile, always interesting, highly insightful and often inspiring.

I, Wayne, created and organised the events and have hosted them since 2017, while being self-employed to do so. The events give much pleasure to many people. The audiences love them and gain a lot from the guests' interviews, as well as when asking their own questions in the audience Q&As. The costs are usually at least 400 per event, and there are other additional ongoing costs. The Space needs to be financially worthwhile, so it can continue, and while I have a viable income.
