----------------------
The space between the stars is a poetic yet rigid piece about a woman, a dog, and a space left behind. Audiences can expect a rich, visual conversation that blends text and movement, instinct and societal structure, tenderness and tension. Rooted in the experiences of Londoners and immigrants, we made this piece to ask: what does it mean to belong, to drift, to survive?
"It’s a mirror to see yourself in it: in the dog’s devotion, the woman’s ache, where you stand in the shifting spaces we call home."
This show is for anyone who has ever questioned where they fit—in cities, in systems, in relationships, or even within their own skin. And it stays with you.
WHO ARE WE?
London-based movement actress originated from Hong Kong. A recent graduate from East 15 Acting School MFA course, and has received advanced training at Shakespeare’s Globe. With 16 years of dance training in Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip-Hop, Tiffany now specializes in physical storytelling, using movement to enhance emotional depth and narrative impact, often incorporating props and puppetry to enrich her work. Tiffany has a keen interest in visual storytelling, passionate about creating visually engaging and emotionally resonant performances that captivate audiences across different backgrounds.
London- and Hong Kong-based actress, Jessica has been engaged in theatre work for the past six years. She is currently training for a Master of Fine Arts in Acting (International) at East 15 Acting School. Jessica is also passionate about dance and movement. She believes the body connects deeply with her inner thoughts, allowing her to express her true self without judgment.
Originally a social worker, Jessica holds a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counselling. Her background has enabled her to resonate with people’s struggles and sparked her ongoing search for the meaning of life. Through her work, she hopes to guide others in walking through life’s journey and connecting with their personal experiences. There may or may not be clear answers, but at the very least, she aims to offer a path for reflection.
