Aim

please help with our relocation of our indie bookshop due to size restraints and that our shop has been put up for sale by our landlords

hello there friends & book lovers alike and welcome to our crowdfunder.

we are scott & amy , owners of southcart books in walsall , we are the only independent bookshop in both walsall and the black country.

we have been  successfully trading  for 2 years & love our little shop that we have created.

we also love all our shop friends that we have made including an army of amazing authors who attend our monthly bookshop parties and have become our extended family over this time.

over the past 2 years we have grown at a steady rate and are now very lacking in space for our lovely books , not only that but our landlords have put our shop up for sale , as such this has forced our hand in needing a move to another location within the town centre.

we have found another shop much larger than ours just round the corner from us and its just perfect and the extra space will allow us to keep putting on all our free community events and also allow us to continue backing our superb local talent.so we are doing this crowdfunder to help us with the move and also for fixtures & fittings.

we would now like to add that every penny you pledge will be given back to you in store credit to be used any time in the next 12 months , so not so much a pledge as buying books you dont own yet , so we all win , we hope all you book lovers like this idea
