The more we raise the more I can do to make my home a happier place for my sighthoun...
To raise funds to help me start my dog care business as well as supporting animal welfare charities.

I've always dreamed of running my own business, caring exclusively for sighthounds, and since owning a dog I've realised how difficult it can be to find someone you can really trust taking care of your pet, as well as the dangers involved in unlicensed daycare and boarding establishments.
I want to offer a home from home experience that both dog and human feel completely safe, calm and comfortable. It can be difficult for any breed being away from home but sighthounds can find it more stressful than most. Sighthounds are different, they're sensitive souls at the best of times and many haven't had the best start in life too.
- They know their own and as the owner of 2 whippets so they will be comfortable in the company of a similar breed
- No more than 2 dogs staying at a time
- Plenty of places to sleep and find somewhere quiet
- Dogs will travel comfortably in my car with plenty of room
- Walked twice a day as well as direct access to secure garden
I want to offer the best service possible for any dogs in my care, I have a background volunteering at Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare as well as volunteering and working at Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, I'm currently studying towards a Level 3 Award in Canine Care, Behavior and Welfare (OFQUAL Regulated Qualification)
- Apply for legally required licence which totals approx £500
- Complete a Canine First Aid course
- Insurance fee
- Make appropriate modifications to my home to make it even more comfortable for the dogs (stair gates, sensory enrichment toys etc)
