Aim

The aim of my project is to continually support Sabah in her wonderful efforts to survive displacement and mindless destruction around them.

Hello there,

Thanks very much for taking interest in my project to help Sabah 💞

Although we wish we could help it, we are both in a very difficult financial situation beyond our control.

Having fled domestic violence with my 2 kids and being on disability benefits doesn't allow me to provide her with the financial support I want and she needs to survive this unimaginable nightmare imposed on her and her family.

⛺

Since their homes were destroyed to the ground, she lives in a tent with her husband, along with 4 more adult family members of theirs'. 2 of them are elderly and extremely vulnerable individuals ⚠️

Those at fault avoid all accountability. It is therefore our responsibility to help them to keep on keeping ✊🏼

Despite their tremendous survival and medical needs, they have no source of income until their surrounding infrastructure is restored.

🙏🏼

We need your help to gather donations which I will be sending to them in full.

⚕️

Sabah's husband has diabetes. She suffers from high blood pressure, diabetes, and has undergone spinal disc surgery. Another family member suffers from high blood pressure and has undergone a hysterectomy and ovary removal due to a benign tumor.

💊

The medication list they are all prescribed with is extensive, comprised of 12 different types of tablets.

Each medication is used daily and long-term. In most cases, a new pack is needed approximately every month, depending on the treatment plan and the number of daily doses required.

When available, medications are usually provided in standard or lowest doses, but availability is not stable and varies from time to time and between pharmacies.

Some of these medications are not consistently available within free medical services, while others are frequently out of stock due to supply shortages and high demand. This forces patients to rely on external purchase.

The cost of a single dose ranges between 10 to 20 USD, and since multiple doses are required daily over a long period, the total cost becomes very high and difficult to sustain without financial support.

🛒

*Short-term necessities required:

Continuous access to necessary medications and medical treatment, food and essential groceries, hygiene supplies, clothing, and blankets.

🏘️🛋️

*Long-term necessities required:

They need to relocate to safe housing, securing a stable place to live. Purchasing essential furniture and household necessities will be some of the requirements when able to access them.

Thank you very much for reading through and understanding the Sharaf family's situation.

Sabah and her family deserve to survive this in as much dignity as possible, as per their undeniable Human Rights 🙂‍↕️

May your kind help and support be returned to you tenfold, like the Universe does.

Thanks very much for your ongoing solidarity and empathy 🌻

Stay blessed,

Demi, Sabah and families
