Dear Resident,
As part of my Mayoral Year, I have established the Mayor’s Community Trust. Rather than focusing on just one or two charities, the Trust will award small grants to a range of local charities, supported by the fundraising events planned throughout the year.
Romsey is home to a wide variety of charities, each contributing to the unique sense of community that makes our town so special. Many of these organisations are not-for-profit and often face challenges in securing the funds they need to continue their important work. The Mayor’s Community Trust has been created to support them.
I look forward to meeting many of the dedicated volunteers who give their time so generously, and I hope that, through this initiative, we can help sustain these vital services in our wonderful town.
