We have smashed our target with lots of time to spare! So we're going to stretch our target a bit. If we can get to £6000 we will be able to buy portable flooring for the Red House Theatre, which can be put down for all types of dance and other physical performances and create a temporary sprung floor effect. This will make the Red House Theatre an even more versatile performance venue. This campaign has already raised £1000 in a week so we know we can do this. So come on all you dancers out there - get tapping on the pledge button and help us to get there! And don't forget to share it...
We are the Parents, Teachers and Friends Association of Plymouth School of Creative Arts, which is home to the Red House Theatre. We want to raise £5,000 towards much needed curtains, blinds, microphones, stage blocks, lighting, and lots of other things. The Red House Theatre is a real community hub and has something to offer everyone. It's really good but we want to make it AMAZING!
You can help us by pledging whatever you like, from £2 to £500 (or more if you like!). Please click on a pledge to donate some money if you can and share with everyone you know.
The Red House Theatre is used by all the students at the school, all year round, for performances of singing, dancing, music, drama and big productions like Bugsy Malone. Lots of groups from the community also use it, like Plymouth Performing Arts Academy, Street Factory and Young Company from the Theatre Royal.
Matthew Bourne's ballet company have used it for rehearsals; international performers like Project Zulu have visited and we’ve even had superstars like Josh Osho playing here with the children!
Everyone from far and wide is welcome to come to see a range of performances here.
There will be rewards for everyone who pledges - from a thank you letter written by one of the children to a Red House Theatre season ticket.
Please pledge if you can and share, share, share. Become a Friend of the Red House Theatre. Thank you!
