The Recycle Yard Community Expansion

Aim
To expand The Recycle Yard to make it more of a community space where people can come to relax, learn, shop and build their own ideas.
I have been given the amazing opportunity to expand The Recycle Yard! 😬 How do you fancy visiting a new place that has customer toilets, parking, easy drop off and loading, area for tea, coffee, cake 😏, space for workshops, Community events, maybe rent a shelf if I can get cabinets etc? Oh, and its still in Ossett and closer to the bus station and town centre!
It is a jump in monthly costs but doable if we can offer the extra services.
My biggest stumbling block is the initial set up costs which is why I've not committed myself just yet. I wasn't planning any of this, the opportunity has presented itself out of the blue so I've been caught on the hop.
So, would you be willing/able to donate anything even if its just £1 to get this going? Any monies received will go towards getting the new place in a suitable enough condition to be used as the shop and storeroom area. We are going to need things like lots of industrial racking, soft flooring in areas, a bigger counter, shelving, cabinets, fixings, a stud partition wall building. We will also need to get enough tables and chairs, basic kitchen equiment, kitchen counter etc etc etc. Plus all of the initial service and insurance costs, deposit and double rent costs whilst we get the new place up and running whilst still running the shop because we will need to keep on earning from the shop until the last bit needs moving.
I'm sure there will be more costs too and this is whats stopping me from sleeping at the moment.
Like I said, normally I wouldn't put myself in this position, but I am a believer in things happen for a reason and if we can provide a better community space where people feel comfortable coming where they can talk to other like minded people and make new friends, build up their confidence, follow their dreams too.....a bit like now but with toilets, parking, tables and chairs to sit and coffee and cake then I think its maybe the right time.
It would also mean we can provide even more help to local charities and groups.
Eek! Ok, let's do this. I have plucked a huge figure out of the air which would mean that we could get most things up and running straight away and give us time to move without killing ourselves, but honestly, any help towards would help and we will be working soooo hard behind the scenes to boost this ourselves too 🙏
Anything we have to buy in will be sourced as cheaply as possible and will be second hand items. If we raise more than the amount shown, not only will I (warning, this may upset some readers 😆) do a happy dance video for you, but we will put it towards setting the rest of my ideas up.
What can we offer in return for your help? Not a lot, other than creating a better space for everyone and knowing that we can help even more people whilst continuing to supply arts, crafts and play materials for everyone not just schools, nurseries etc at affordable prices. And the main reason? To stop even more waste going to landfill 🤞♻️
If you can't donate, it doesn't matter at all, just kind words and supporting us by coming to shop with us, advice, hugs etc are just as important to us 🤗
