We're still collecting donations

On the 23rd May 2020 we'd raised £2,174 with 69 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

 New stretch target

Utilising the money we can get more foods when running low, help financially the rugby club utility bills.  It would be nice to keep the kitchen running after the Corona virus Pandemic has disappeared in order to cut down waste and provide for those who are desperately struggling, funds dependant.

lump sum to a charity chosen by the town.

The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for  millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for Everyone to survive. Together we can help them.

Honiton RFC and Cathy’s Bakehouse understand the need from families at the best of times. With everything that is going on these guys have taken note, that in actual fact families and kids may need this now more than ever! HRFC and Cathy’s Bakehouse have paired up to do something amazing.

The “Random kitchen” is all about getting any form (in date or close to end date) food donated to create meals for people who are struggling. Anything that comes in will be utilised and frozen down to be stored. These meals are FOC. All done by volunteers and hopefully will support those that truly need it.

All you have to do is warm them up

As more and more people go into self-isolation and utilising this service, we are constantly being asked such questions as

"where can we donate some funds?"

"when my universal credit comes can I donate some money?"

"I'm in isolation and cant donate food can I donate money"

Only small contributions this will help resource more foods and help towards the generosity of Honiton RFC utility bills.

If there is any money left over, this will be donated to local charity
