The Quest: Part 2 Full Licensing

Aim

Bringing positive change to communities with music, creative song, poetry writing, arts & crafts. This is the 2nd part of an evolving quest

Singer/Songwriter/Cover Artist

I have always had a passion when it comes to music, art and being creative such as jewellery making/design/crafts. 

I have invested many years in learning to play musical instruments, singing,  songwriting, spoken word and poetry, producing music, plus jewellery making.

I have an history of fundraising and have set up many community events. 

This fundraiser is the start of a new journey in my career as a musician artist which will involve a large element of community involvement and support in the long term. 

I strive for positive change in this world and that is my overall goal.

Part One of tge Quest ained to raise amareness for the National Autistic Society. 

Part Two is about licencing.

Licensing

To move foward, I require the correct licensing in my future to ensure the right people get paid when I use their backing track creations for social media. 

When I play my own instruments this type of licensing is not necessary, however I would like to have a good choices available  so we can have a bigger band experience if possible. 

I would like others to be able to use the backing tracks when I run events such as open mics sessions in the community.

Costings

Each song costs £25 each for the use of the tracks (this is a one off payments)

In addition, I would like to release a number of covers both solo and with community involvement where they can be streamed on large streeming services such as spoify and apple. 

Each cover song costs an additional  £12 each per track, per year to do this with the correct licencing.

This means I can then release these tracks on spotify, apple iTunes and all the main streaming services.

Ideally I would like a minimum of 8 tracks to begin with but would be very greatful to have as many options for the future as possible. 

I have set my initial goal as £300 and would be very greatful if I could raise more funding so I can record and perform more options for online purposes. The more tracks the better. 

Music/Art/Jewellery Sales to help raise funds

As well as the option to simply donate and support me in my quest, I have added different support options so you can choose to purchase my creations to help build my future dreams within music and arts. 

In the long term I intend to teach song writing, learning to play music, provide performing opportunities, confidence building, painting and jewellery making. 

I intebde to ensure the services are accessible to all. 

Part One of my Quest was to raise funds and Awareness for the National Autistic Society which is now complete.
