If we were to smash our original target and raise additional money, we would push on with other targets we have as a club. After the purchase of the land, we would love to install floodlighting to enable us to keep our facilities open for longer and keep everyone safe. Further money would go towards upgrading our current facilities to be more "disability friendly"
Here at Tutbury bowls club, we offer the local community the chance to participate in sport and socialize in a friendly and safe environment. Our aim is to become a top quality sporting facility offering the best crown green bowling facilities around as well as giving local people somewhere they can bring friends and family to spend time together.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to purchase the land on which Tutbury bowls club currently lies. This land is leased by us at the present moment to enable us to keep playing crown green bowls in Tutbury but now the land has been made available for purchase. The buying of the land is a must for the club as if we fail to do so we may be forced to move from our home venue of more than 100 years which could lead Tutbury bowls club into folding.
We have set our target at £5,000, this will enable us to purchase the land and secure the future of the club not just for its members, but for the local people too. Tutbury bowls club can be the talking point of the local area with your help so please give anything you can to help us achieve our target.
