The Pumas Take on Total Warrior

Raising funds to support the future of NEL and help create a permanent home for grassroots football.

On June 28th, a few of the NEL Pumas will be taking on the Junior Total Warrior challenge in memory of their friend and teammate, Max Kuc, who unexpectedly passed away in December last year. 

Max was a huge part of the team and embodied everything a great teammate should be — kind, supportive, full of team spirit, and proudly the Pumas’ self-appointed captain. He brought laughter, friendship, and endless energy to everyone around him, and he is deeply missed by all who knew him.

To honour Max’s memory, his incredible parents, Lucy and Chris, are committed to securing the long-term future of the football club that meant so much to him — and continues to mean so much to all the NEL boys and girls.

The club currently does not have a permanent home ground. Funds raised will help support plans for a dedicated 3G pitch and facility: a place where local children can train, play, develop, and enjoy football for years to come. Donations will also help improve partner facilities, including Gledhow Sports and Social Club, which has supported the club since day one.

The club has a long way to go but any donation, no matter the size, would mean the world to us all.Thank you
