Our Story
Through making the finest quality spirits, our aim is to make a real difference to communities throughout the UK.
Our mission is to make society more social, by coming together to share good times, enjoy great drinks and do some brilliant things for the local community.
So you can drink the good stuff and be doing good at the same time because we commit to giving back a quarter of our profits to support key causes in society.

Why we need you
In order to launch, we need your help.
Through sharing some Public Spirit with us now, we'll be able to share lots more in the future.
We've launched this campaign to get some much-needed cash into our business which will allow us to produce the first batches of our spirits, spread the word and get The Public Spirit off the ground.
In exchange for your support and donations, we're offering some unbelievable rewards from getting your hands on the first bottles in the batch to securing a supply of rum for five years - seriously.

Our Spirits
Our first two spirits will be our Golden Aged Rum and Original Spiced Rum.
Working with the best distilleries in the world, we’ve sourced and handpicked the finest single origin rums to create a completely unique, amazing-tasting, and incredibly smooth rum.
All aged in ex-bourbon American Oak casks to give it’s exceptional natural taste and signature golden colour - there’s zero room for artificial flavourings.
Bold, rich, and complex - each rum brings its own distinctive style before they’re married together to create our brilliantly unique flavour profile.
From barrel to bottle, the rum is then expertly crafted in small batches to ensure every drop is as memorable as the last and the result is a liquid like no other.
All responsibly sourced with an uncompromised focus upon taste and quality, what’s not to like?
The Rum's Journey:
Golden Aged Rum
Our Golden Aged Rum is a truly fantastic blend of handpicked rums from Barbados, Jamaica, Panama, Trinidad, and Venezuela.

Original Spiced Rum
Our Original Spiced Rum uses our signature blend of five rums with the addition of creamy salted toffee and spices, all using 100% natural ingredients.

Our Commitments
For us, it’s about a lot more than just profit.
We strive to make a real difference in the communities around us, and to the causes that need it the most.
That’s why we make a commitment to giving back a quarter of all profits to charities that support key causes in society.
From providing much-needed food for the rising number of people relying on foodbanks, to supporting the crucial fight for equality and a fairer society.
These are serious and very real challenges for many today, but that’s not all.
We also recognise the existential threat posed by climate change and the need to protect our wonderful planet.
Through responsibly sourcing our goods, and using sustainable packaging we hope to limit our environmental impact, while making a promise to become even greener.
The Founders
We're Olly & Naomi, the founders of The Public Spirit.
The Public Spirit was formed at a time when coming together wasn't possible.
We wanted to help people rediscover their love for socialising, whilst giving back to the ever-important communities around us.
Formed out of a shared passion for rum and spirits and what drinking them means for us - whether it’s sharing moments with friends and family, or simply just enjoying great drinks.
We wanted to celebrate those things while helping those who are struggling in society too.
It’s quite simple for us, we’re bringing people together to have a great time and help others at the same time.
It’s a win-win.
