The Pizza Pledge for the NHS

During these uncertain times, small acts of kindness can make the biggest difference. We want to do our part and support the NHS staff the only way we know how - make them delicious pizzas. With your help, we’re planning to raise enough money to make mouth watering wood-fired pizzas for those working tirelessly on the frontline at local hospitals.

The mobile horse box, turn pizza van, is an ideal platform to offer up some tasty grub during the Covid-19 pandemic. Parking up in the grounds of the hospital, we operate remotely, in an open air environment. We’ll incorporate additional strict hygiene measures, including face masks, and a safety distance system (always keeping 2m apart from staffers). We all live under one roof and by so are an isolated working unit. 

Our current aim is to serve up two days a week at local hospitals, donating up to 100 pizzas a day. 

We have the equipment and the time, we just need the produce. That’s where you come in. With your donations, we’ll be able to continue serving up homemade pizzas for healthcare heroes during the coming weeks. All proceeds will go directly into food for the frontlines. 

Whether you want to donate a whole pizza (£3.00 at cost, a reduced price, because of our generous donations from suppliers), or contribute any amount towards the ingredients, any donation will make such a big difference, and bring some tasty joy to those that need it!  Thank you so much.

Who even are you ?!

John & Amie have had their vintage food truck for nearly five years, selling wood-fired tasties along the North Coast of Cornwall during the season. Since moving to Bristol, with their buds Jacob & Gracie, the truck has been put on hold. With the current crisis, we feel there is no better way to utilise our time and energy than bringing the van back to life and providing much needed hot food to our local healthcare heroes.
