Aim

Aiming to make the best possible wood-fired pizza in Cornwall ... from a converted shipping container.

The Pizza Cabina

It was on a night of celebration with friends, enjoying campfire pizza, that The Pizza Cabina was born.   Aiming to recreate the smoky, fresh and exciting flavours of a Napoli style pizza using an authentic wood fired oven.  Any profit from pledges will go towards expensive equipment such as the dough mixer, oven and, of course, the shipping containers.  All pledges have rewards attached - think of it as pre-ordering your pizza, with up to a third off.

The Cabinas

We have two large converted shipping containers; one has been converted as a pizza kitchen which will house the huge, brick oven and the other which will have cafe style seating and tables.  So, take away or take next door - the choice is yours. The site is huge with plenty of free parking, picnic tables (arriving soon) and direct access to the new footpath into threemilestone.

See the pics below - we're not there yet but the Cabinas are really taking shape.  The kitchen is in and we awaiting the dough mixer and wood fired oven.

The Cabina Family

The Pizza Cabina family includes Kerry, our financial director; Steve, our builder, designer, fabricator and site manager; Jono our pizziola and myself, Rhian, brand and design manager.  We're all good friends and have set out to do this as a fun project, following our  passion for baking and eating great pizza.  We also hope to share the best tasting pizza in Cornwall with you.

The Pizza

Be in no doubt, Jono makes great pizza.  Trained in Margaret River Bakery in Western Australia, he has since entertained friends with his amazing pizza and bread for years.  He says he is looking forward to the new oven arriving at which point, he is confident the pizza will go 'next level'.

These pizzas have all been baked in a domestic oven at 250 degrees.  The Pizza Cabina will be baking pizzas at 400 - 500 degrees.  Needless to say Jono is very excited!

The Menu

Too early to give too much detail but there will be at least three meat options, a veggie one, a vegan one and a gluten-free option as well.

Rewards - how you can help?

You can pledge £15 which buys you a ticket to one of our launch parties, on site, at The Pizza Cabina, Threemilestone.  Here we will have more than enough great pizza from our wood-fired oven to tantalise your taste buds with the whole menu available. You won't go hungry!  We'll have great beer, prosecco, wine, great music - a proper party!

You can also pledge for a pizza vouchers from £10 to £40 which will allow you to enjoy any pizza on the menu for just £10, 2 for £20 ... you get the idea.

Want to treat your friends?  Colleagues?  Want to throw a party?  You can have the whole site, both cabina's, Jono the pizziola and lots of pizza.  See the Rewards section for details.
