The Pilcrow Pub - Help us through COVID-19

Aim

We are the pub that Manchester built. Our pub is evidence of what can happen when we work together - we could do with a hand once again...

We could really do with a hand! 

Just like other small businesses in our community, we have been really sucker punched by the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the recent government announcements.

We are a small, independent pub, that was built BY and FOR Manchester! Our pub is the physical evidence of what we can achieve when we work together. Up until a few days ago we were installing our new art exhibiton, planning future events, organising TTO’s and gearing up for Summer Beer Thing and now, we are sadly looking at what could be a three month closure. 

We have never been about profit and right now we are really struggling to see how we are going to survive this. Our staff are incredibly important to us and without them, we wouldn’t have even made it this far! With this in mind, we have launched a Crowdfunder, in the hopes that our loyal community might be able to lend a helping hand, in exchange for a bar tab, which you can redeem when our doors are back open for business! 

Once again, this is certainly not about making money. This is about protecting our staff and ensuring that they can rely on us for their livelihood in what is likely to be a really tough few months.
