The People's School Uniform Project

Aim
To help the poorest families afford a decent uniform for their children starting school this year!
Due to the cost of living crisis, many families are struggling, and even more so, single parents, sick, disabled, and the unemployed. Therefore, when it comes to families forking out ridiculously high prices for school uniforms, many are unable to pay what is required, leading to mockery, bullying, and alienation of their children when they get to school.
While the government may assist with some funding, it is often not enough, and many families are choosing between uniforms, eating or heating their homes. This cannot continue.
Therefore, the aim of this project is to assist those who need it most. Those from the neglected housing schemes across Glasgow, who regardless of race or gender, are struggling. Our mission is not one to divide us, but one to give hope to those who have very little. It may not be life changing, but it will show that as a community, we can come together and help one another.
Therefore, anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated, and will go toward those who need it most; the future of our nation, that is, our children!
This is not about charity, but solidarity.
