We did it
On 3rd April 2019 we successfully raised £9,663 with 83 supporters in 62 days
The aim is to raise money for young people in the slums of India to participate in the 2019 Global Peace Games, Messines, Belgium.

The National Children's Football Alliance is a registered charity and it has been successfully delivering projects for young people from diverse and poor communities, for over 10 years. The NCFA's Peace Field Project (PFP), is a cross curricular project that twins designated areas of play with The Peace Village, Flanders Peace Field, Messines, Belgium, site of the 1914 Christmas Truces. The NCFA now works in partnership with International NGOs. Through the PFP, Slum Soccer, India, were the first International Children's Football Alliance partners to twin their designated area of play with Flanders. THE PEACE RIDE will deliver a peace poppy football from The University of Kent’s Peace Pitch to Menin Gate, Ypres, Belgium. The money raised will enable Slum Soccer, India to send some young people to the 2019 GLOBAL PEACE GAMES (GPGs) . A once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in a week-long peace education programme at The Peace Village, Mesen, Belgium.
