To record and release our third EP - a collection of five new songs - at a professional studio in Brighton.
WHAT WE’RE RAISING MONEY FOR:
This summer we're heading to Brighton Electric Studios to record our third EP.
Brighton Electric has hosted artists including The Cure, Royal Blood, The Kooks, Bombay Bicycle Club, Foals, Charli XCX and Florence Welch to name a few. Recording there gives us the opportunity to record these songs to the highest possible standard.
Funding will cover professional recording, mixing and mastering costs, as well as travel and accommodation costs for us to travel to Brighton from Bristol for 2 days in July to record the tracks.
The EP features five tracks, some of which we’ve been performing live over the past year, and some of which are yet to bless your ears. These are songs that have grown and evolved through countless gigs, and we’re excited to finally give them the studio treatment that they deserve. Having seen these songs already beginning to resonate with our audiences makes us want to make them the best they can be. This will be our most ambitious release to date, and we want it to reflect the work, passion and resilience that has been put into The Pavilion over the years, and to highlight the fresh, bright minds of the new line-up.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP:
Like many independent bands, everything we've achieved so far has been entirely self-funded. We’ve launched this crowdfunder to gain support from those who are as passionate about this band as we are.
We’re a completely independent band based in Bristol and alongside writing, rehearsing, touring and recording, we're all working 0 hour contract jobs to keep the band moving forward. Every gig, rehearsal, release and piece of merchandise has been made possible through our own investment and the support of people who believe in what we're doing.
We truly believe these are the strongest songs we've written, and we want to give them the release they deserve. With your support, we can create a professional record that represents where The Pavilion is right now and continue building on the momentum we've gained over the past year.
