Please help us to come out the other side of this crazy situation...from a coffee to a day at GP HQ...it will all help us to survive this X
On the 23rd of March following advice from the government and because of COVID-19 we closed the doors to our cafe...over the next few weeks and months, throughout lockdown we have cooked and delivered food and supplies to our local community in a non-profit capacity. We absolutely love what we do and it felt important to keep in touch with our customers and to support people who needed it.
Now over 3 months later, as we plan our reopening, we are excited about the future. We don't want charity and are very sure once we reopen, you will be back supporting us as you always have! We are
What we are asking is for you to help us bridge the gap that has been created by this pandemic and help us come out the other side!
If during the last few weeks you might have visited us for a coffee or cake or even one of our breakfasts? But you couldn't because of the lockdown...
Please consider helping us by buying something to redeem when we reopen. Or if you have missed grabbing a coffee during lockdown why not buy one of our coffee cards? If you cannot wait to sit and catch up with someone you love over a cup of tea then one of these rewards may be for you!
This funding will really help us, as one of the biggest problems small businesses face is cashflow. We run a tight ship and when we were told to close we lost so much overnight. We aren't a big multi-million pound operation, this is us...our cafe and our wonderful staff. With the funds we raise we will be able to invest in seating and covering for our outside space so when we open we can offer more seating outside. It might even enable us to heat our outside area (or buy some cosy blankets!)
