Help us turn our town centre theatre space into a bright, green community garden. Bringing life, colour, and pride back to our streets.
At GKPA, we believe in the power of community, creativity, and coming together to make something beautiful. Our theatre space sits right in the heart of the town centre, a place that should be full of life, laughter, and colour. But right now, the surrounding streets are dark, dull, and often covered in litter, with very little green space for anyone to enjoy.
We want to change that.
Our vision is to transform this neglected area into the GKPA Community Garden, a welcoming and vibrant green space where people of all ages can come together. With your help, we’ll create a bright and engaging garden filled with plants, flowers, and places to sit, chat, and connect.
This project isn’t just about plants, it’s about people. We’ll involve local residents, families, and volunteers in every stage, from planting days to community events, helping to bring people together, reduce isolation, and give everyone a shared sense of pride in our town.
We’re also planning to introduce a community shed, a friendly and creative hub where locals can gather to garden, share skills, make new friends, and work together on projects that help improve our town.
Part of the funds raised will also go towards installing charging points for electric cars, helping our members and visitors make greener choices for the future.
Every donation will help us breathe new life into our town centre, turning a forgotten corner into a space full of colour, connection, and community spirit.
Together, we can grow something amazing. 🌱
