Aim
The Old Bookshop is trying to raise funds for an outdoors seating area.
Covid-19 has had a severe impact on our business. We took the decision not to reopen in July due to uncertainties in how we could operate a small indoor venue with social distancing guidelines in place. Making the Bookshop a seating only venue would drastically reduce our capacity.
Thankfully, Bristol City Council has given us, and many other venues, the opportunity to have outside seating areas where there was once none, meaning that we have the chance to keep our capacity levels up while maintaining social distancing guidelines.
The money raised from this fund will go towards a comfortable and eye pleasing seating area outside the front of The Old Bookshop.
