I am raising money for a charitable cause that is very important to me so please donate and help me reach my target

A green and pleasant land

As you may know, I LOVE the National Trust (or the NT for the real fans out there). There were so many NT stickers on my car windscreen at one point that it became a hazard to drive. These badges of honour and dedication were however generally quite well received and often enabled me to pillage the best spaces outside of village halls and community centres. Now I have to pay for parking as I now only have two stickers compared to Deadre's 5 and Agnus's whopping 6.

The National Trust are celebrating their 125th birthday with a campaign to get fans like me to raise £125 to support a range of important projects that need funding.

It's all about the little challenges in life, so I'm running 125km across 12.5 days! Please help me raise £125 to celebrate 125 incredible years of the National Trust. For the mathletes out there, that's 10km a day (not a mission to the arctic but a challenge none the less!

- I think we've seen enough of this

+ How about some more of this?

Many of our incredible landmarks and countryside in the UK are preserved for the population by the National Trust and it is their hard work and imagination that keeps these spaces relevant and in good repair for the future.

(Trelissick House and gardens - a favourite place of mine)

Nature is not a novelty!

If we don't have respect for the other things in life that inhabit our planet, then one day the animals that we know and love will cease to exist and these creatures will be nothing but characters in a book for our children.

The UK is an incredible place and I want to stand up for those who are fighting in the corner of the wildlife and natural landscapes that exists around us.

Please give what you can - can you spare a pint for the National Trust?

Thank you

Bertie :)
