Aim
A community cafe called The Meeting Place, part of the Crossroads Community Hub. Bringing community connection to fill hearts with hope
Who are we?
The Crossroads Community Hub, the aim is to provide practical support to those in need in our local community, in particular, to help those in the community who are experiencing food poverty, isolation and loneliness
Community Impact
Over the past 18 months, we have supported over 2500 adults and children through our packing and delivery of Emergency Food Parcels. As we expand our opening time for the Meeting Place Cafe we want to provide an opportunity to find a warm welcome and safe space to come and collect the parcel and to make community connections to help being hope and advice to those experiencing food poverty

Why are we crowdfunding?
We are planning to be open for an extra session a week as we move into the new year and the darkest and coldest months, we want to provide a space to meet others and to deepen community connections

How we’ll spend the money raised
The money we raise will fund our Project Coordinator as she takes the role of cafe manger and leads our team of volunteers that will staff café for these 2 sessions each week
