The Matrix Trust - £25k to Celebrate 25 Years

Aim
To celebrate our 25th Birthday, and in order to sustain and expand our work, we’ve set an ambitious goal: raising £25,000.
For 25 years, the Matrix Trust has provided a lifeline for vulnerable young people across Guildford Borough, helping to catalyse change by nurturing, inspiring, connecting and empowering them. Growing as local need has increased, we’ve worked closely with young people as this has happened, listening to them in order to discern their needs and launching or adapting projects to provide the support requested. In both secondary and primary schools, we provide developmental and mentoring support through one-to-one sessions, workshops and social activities. In communities, we provide safe spaces, positive activities and targeted community-based projects that enable young people to make the most of their lives and become active citizens in their communities. In addition, we provide traineeships and work experience that enable young people who have struggled in education to gain the necessary skills to move on to employment. Many of the young people we work with transition between these areas of work as they grow up, receiving the relevant support they need at each stage of their lives.
To celebrate all the lives we’ve been part of transforming in this time, and ensure we’re able to continue this critical work for another 25 years, we want to raise £25,000.
