The Little Green Pantry -Telfords Zero Waste Store

Aim

We want to bring plastic free shopping to Telford to help us all reduce our plastic waste.

Hello everyone & welcome to The Little Green Pantry Crowdfunding campaign!

The Little Green Pantry aims to reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in the ocean and in landfill around the world. This waste threatens marine life and ultimately human health.

We believe that supermarkets have forced the public into purchasing more plastic than is necessary. Now we would like to give the choice back to the consumer, to help significantly reduce plastic pollution, by opening Telfords first Zero Waste Store, where all products come without plastic packaging.

Customers will be able to buy any amount, large or small, filling their own reusable containers, which they either bring with them or use the free paper bags provided.

This business will start with weekly pop up stalls around Telford. This will allow us to hopefully come to a location near you. The ultimate aim is for a permanent store hopefully in Wellington, where we can then expand our range of products and increase our buying power, therefore passing on the savings to you, our customers. I intend to take a small wage to cover my childcare costs so that I can provide this service to you, then any profit in the first year will be ploughed back into the business to achieve our expansion goals as soon as possible.

We are crowdfunding to add to our own investment in order to help with the purchase of equipment, stock and safe food storage, so we can open sooner and start making a difference quicker.
