Aim

The Libertarian Conservative Group's aim is promoting libertarian conservative ideas through discussion, policy research and development.

The Libertarian Conservative Group is a Think Tank which was founded in June 2018 with the aim of promoting libertarian conservative ideas through discussion, policy research and development.

The Libertarian Conservative Group combines libertarian policies with conservative values; prioritising liberty as its core value whilst promoting freedom of expression; freedom of choice and free market capitalism.

We reject attempts at social engineering from the left-wing of the political spectrum and advocate key libertarian principles such as fiscal discipline, respect for contracts, defense of private property and the principle of the free market.

We place a strong emphasis on self-assistance and freedom of choice under a laissez-faire and economically liberal capitalist society with key social tenets; valuing key aspects of Judeo-Christian morality alongside a framework of limited, constitutional monarchical and representative government.

The overall goal of The Libertarian Conservative Group is to create a platform where all citizens of a ‘right-of-centre’ persuasion in British politics can unite and work together for the benefit of this great nation by challenging the growing consensus of economic interventionism.

Our concerns range from the removal of individual freedom; the gradual dismantling of freedom of speech and the continued expansion of the State.

Research that The Libertarian Conservative Group undertakes will cover a wide range of topics and subjects which concern every single Libertarian and Conservative. This can be historical research into destruction of Libertarian conservative values like Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Choice, and how these historical events can have ramifications in the present day as we regress towards losing the values our ancestors fought with their lives to protect.

We believe that the possibilities are endless when a free creative mind is allowed to flourish in an environment which embraces freedom of ideas and speech.

The Libertarian Conservative Group will be working on multiple platforms to connect with politicians; the media and most importantly the public, in order to provide everyone with the information required for a revival of Libertarian Conservatism in Britain
