People love their gardens, but with the rising cost of living and their worsening health conditions, our elders struggle to stay on top of their much loved and needed outdoor spaces.
Help us to find and help isolated elderly people who are most in need of garden maintenance services across County Durham. We aim to restore love in the garden, provide company for a simple cup of tea, and inspire stewardship over the space that truly brings the most joy to life.
How your donations will be used:
A £60 donation will cover a 2 hour session with the lady gardeners where a huge impact will be made.
A £180 donation will cover a total of three 2 hour sessions; in winter, spring and then an early summer session.
A £1560 donation would provide fortnightly gardening sessions for an entire calendar year.
Smaller donations will be combined in value to provide more and more sessions for isolated pensioners desperate for help with their gardens! We are grateful for every pound that we can raise, putting it to use the way we know best in our community.
