Raising money for The King’s Trust, a charity that helps young people build the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to succeed.
As a group of apprentices and graduates, all working across different areas of British Airways, Team Flying for Change has come together with one shared mission: to make our mark through The King's Trust Million Makers challenge.
But this isn't just about us. Over the next six months, Team Flying for Change is looking to push ourselves, push our colleagues, and bring the business along with us on an important journey, with the aim of raising over £20,000 for The King's Trust, by February 2026.
I'm joining the team on their biggest challenge yet! Walking from LGW – LHR – LCY in 24 hours: a more-than-double-marathon 88km walk, pushing trail-blazing boundaries in the style of the A350.
The King’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed, no matter their background or the challenges they are facing. The charity helps young people from disadvantaged communities and those facing the greatest adversity by supporting them to build the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn.
I’m also taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 to raise money for The King’s Trust, a charity that helps young people build the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to succeed.
The King’s Trust supports young people facing challenges such as unemployment, mental health struggles, or lack of access to education—helping them turn their potential into real opportunities. Every donation, big or small, helps fund training, mentoring, and support that can genuinely change lives.
Thanks very much for your support - looking forward to the walk/race!
