Co-op Warm Spaces Funding Boost has provided £510 of match funding
We are providing a Warm Space for the public to use throughout the winter months, and are crowdfunding in order to subsidise the costs.
Kenward Trust offers residential rehabilitation in Kent for those with alcohol and drug addiction issues, as well as supporting family and friends of those affected by addiction.
We also have a commercial enterprise, known as Kenward Place, where we offer alpaca and goat experiences to the public, as well as archery and disc golf. We also have a cafe and a gift shop.
As part of the Warm Spaces project, we will be open during January and February, Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm, as a place for the general public to come and sit somewhere warm. We have free wi-fi and toilets, and people can purchase drinks and snacks. People are welcome to work from our site, read a book or have a chat with each other.
We are crowdfunding in order to subsidise the additional costs of heating the rooms, and if we raise enough funds, we will be able to provide free hot drinks.
