The Hub at Westhoughton is charity run community centre, based in Westhoughton. We started with absolutely nothing in 2017 and have built a vibrant and exciting range of services for the community, including a massive range of activities, dance, exercise, health, socialisation, baby groups, community events, we are completely inclusive and our age range is 6 weeks to 99. We are in a old school that has developed serious issues with its roof, and only this week it has been identified that a drastic repair is needed to ensure we are sustainable. We have over 3000 people a week using our vital services for families and are now in a desperate rush to secure funding to repair the roof. If anyone can help us, every little bit will truly help to keep our buildings and services run. The Hub at Westhoughton is the Heart of the community with the community at its heart. Thank you so much for reading about us and supporting our charity.

In 2017 we said ‘Build it and they will come”, by 2023 “We had built it and they came”.
Due to the recent bad weather, we have developed a serious issue with the roof which has resulted in a large repair needed as the rain water is coming through the main corridor leading to the rooms, this is now in a serious condition and we really need the help of local businesses and the community.
