We're still collecting donations
On the 11th June 2021 we'd raised £850 with 51 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
To support people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities to enjoy growing their own flowers and vegetables and gain confidence
by Jane Spink in Sedgefield, England, United Kingdom
On the 11th June 2021 we'd raised £850 with 51 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Support The Hive of Sedgefield to continue to enable people with learning difficulties and physical disabilities to share in the mental health and environmental benefits of growing their own flowers and vegetables.
Volunteer led, The Hive welcomes all and caters for a range of needs. Volunteers are welcomed in a friendly and supportive environment. All money raised through crowd funding will allow for the development of the garden including wheelchair accessible raised beds, specialist adapted gardening equipment and making The Hive a warm and comfortable place to enable all to enjoy the wonderful skill of growing together.
