Aim

We want to create an animated sci-fi, fantasy show that lasts for several years, entertaining and leaving a lasting impression on the viewer

The Heir of Time was created by Just Just Productions, a non-profit production company founded by a group of friends that spans from around the world. Just Just Productions has made and been involved in several pieces of award-winning filmography. The Heir of Time is an animated project headed by Marco Jonathan, Trent Meacham, and Toby Talbot with the intent of releasing all throughout 2022 and 2023, with the future promising much more...

What is The Heir of Time? The Heir of Time is going to be an animated sci-fi, fantasy series where we follow a group of heroes as they adventure through a post-war galaxy plagued by corruption, suffering, and maybe...just a little bit of hope. The Heir of Time blends whimsical fantasy and hard sci-fi in order to make a thought-provoking story with a variety of themes along with a mystical, dangerous universe that constantly surprises you throughout. When The Heir of Time was originally envisioned back in late 2020, we could never have imagined that we'd be reaching the heights that we have now. The team has grown exponentially to 12+ passionate, hard-working individuals. Our team hosts a lot of talent such as editors, composers, voice actors, directors and so much more.
Where will the money be going?
Where will the money be going? In terms of budgeting for The Heir of Time; the bulk of the budget is going towards animation cost's for animators, a motion capture suit, and another PC for extra animating and rendering capabilities. Another significant portion of the budget goes towards assets and both music and animating plug-in licensing. The majority of assets and plugins that are necessary to the production are available to us currently, however, in the future we will likely have to expand our asset library due to the escalation of the series through time as well as taking on future team members. Finally, the last portion of the budget is going towards distribution (Marketing) and storage for the Heir of Time via more google drive storage or physical storage.

 Covid 

Just Just Productions is a company of artists, our art is within filmography, a style that was heavily impacted due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The pandemic has been a constant worry and thorn in our side throughout the current development process and will likely continue to be so further on down the line. Just Just is a community-driven company, the safety and well-being of our staff will always be paramount to us in the face of producing a show like this during the pandemic and with your support, we can continue you to maintain that personal value.

The visuals for the Heir of Time will be made using Blender 3.0 using both the Eevee and Cycles engine. We believe by combining both engines could make a very unique style and we can use the best of both worlds. The pictures below are some of the renders we've done for the Heir of Time from 2020-2022.

Zac

Years after a devastating war left the galaxy in shambles, Zac, a rookie soldier for the Xalgorian Military is stationed within the Frontier Star System to monitor any signs of hostility from the Elven military. Unbeknownst to him, other factions plot and scheme behind the scenes, awaiting the return of war. One day, Zac may need to decide whether his loyalties lie with his species or his friends. For now, though, he'd be happy just for something interesting to break up the monotony of his daily routine. Be careful what you wish for.

Sel

At the far reaches of the Frontier Star System, a young elven woman dreams of a future far beyond the confinements of her small-town life. After taking a leap of faith, Sel finds that her dreams may just come true--along with the consequences of meddling in Galactic politics and ancient powers far beyond anything she could have ever imagined. For Sel to forge a future for herself and her friends, she'll need to adjust to an ever-changing universe where the concept of "heroes" is nothing more than a cautionary tale. Luckily, the galaxy wasn't anticipating her, either.

Nigel

A friend and Robotic Companion to Zac, Nigel always maintains a calm and collected persona to juxtapose the harsh nature of the Frontier. In reality, however, Nigel's AI contains thousands of programs that include expertise in (but are not limited to): Cooking. Cleaning. Arson. Skiing. Painting. Cyberbullying. Poetry. And finally--premeditated murder. And much, much more! Nigel would like to remind people that these capabilities do not make them any less a friend. Who wants fresh cookies?

Zodiac

Little is known about the Zodiac, few are even sure of his species, only one thing is known: Should you be so unlucky as to encounter him on your travels... run.
