Aim

Sponsored Bicycle ride to raise funds for The Harvey Dunmore Scholarship Foundation Charity

Myself Karl, Colin (Harvey’s Dad), Ritchie and Brian are doing a sponsored bicycle ride on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2026.

We are cycling 160 miles from the Yellow Rose pub in Middlesbrough to Leeds East Airport, then back to Middlesbrough via Bagby Airfield near Thirsk where tragically  Harvey was involved in a fatal aircraft accident in 2023.

We are raising money towards an amazing charity which helps young aspiring pilots to take their first steps towards fulfilling their aviation dreams, by providing Private Pilot scholarships just like the scholarship Harvey was given which helped him to fulfil his own dreams. Harvey was a fantastic young pilot who absolutely loved flying and was an inspiration to others. 

Harvey tragically lost his life in an air crash just before landing in 2023 and this Charity - The Harvey Dunmore Scholarship Charity Foundation (RCN 1209 710) has been founded  by his family to create a positive and lasting legacy in his treasured memory, by helping others towards  achieving their aviation goals ✈️
