We hope this donation and others to come, can help secure further funding and keep Gamesley Community and Sports Centre open and thriving ! We believe it is short-sighted of Derbyshire County Council and their decision makers, to action the continuous closure of community led buildings in Gamesley. Gamesley Community and Sport Centre is the last purpose built building in current use. Closing this site that not only houses The Hangout Youth Club but also Health Practitioners and other Health Services, Social Services , Sport and Wellbeing Classes, 1-1 Educational Classes and many more is criminal. This is another shameful example of communities being failed, and falling victim to poor fiscal policies. Keep up the good fight 👏
