The Hanging Gardens Souper Sundays

Aim
To provide a safe warm space that our community can use to come together and enjoy, offering FREE hot food & drink throughout the winter.
Soup-er Sundays is an event set setup by The Hanging Gardens, Llanidloes Community Fridge and local volunteers providing a FREE safe warm space where local residents can come every weekend to socialise, get involved or just relax.
The Hanging Gardens provides a unique environment to host this event with a beautiful relaxing indoor garden space, where visitors are surrounded by lemon & orange trees, tomatoes, chilli plants and passion flowers.
We offer hot drinks, soup and bread for lunch (made from food donations that would otherwise go to waste) as well as organising entertainment by local businesses and artists who provide live music, mindfulness classes, board games and other activities, all in a laid-back atmosphere and free of charge.
Soup-er Sundays are funded solely by donations and grants, with proceeds being invested back into the project to provide supplies and cover energy.
