The Great British Charcuterie Co. needs your help to create the definitive marketplace for British charcuterie, cheeses and wines


The Great British Charcuterie Co. was founded in April 2016 by Father and Son team Simon and Phil Bartley and was born out of a love of British charcuterie, cheese and wine. Our shop in the bustling Brighton marina will be opening in July along with our online store.

Our aim is simple, we want to bring you the largest range of award winning British charcuterie, cheeses and English wines available on the market today, at an affordable price, whilst championing the countries best artisan producers.

We will be working with some amazing artisans who practice the highest level of animal welfare standards and produce some the finest products available today, many made right here in Sussex.

Our store will be stocking over 100 artisan British cheese and charcuterie products along with a huge range of English wines and everything inbetween also available to buy online and in store.

 

Working alongside the countries best small artisan producers we have developed a huge product list and most importantly everything is made right here in the UK by family run, small batch artisan producers and farmers, we will also be stocking a wide range of British wines, biscuits, jellies and chutneys, all of which will be available at our online store or in the shop.

We have found a fantastic premises for our base in the bustling Brighton marina complex and will be opening mid to late July after an extensive refurbishment but in the meantime we are busy finishing off our website, meeting with suppliers and finding the right staff.

 

First Draft Plans

 

So, you may be thinking 'Why do you need our money ?'

We would like to be able to produce and cure our own bespoke charcuterie products for you to create and purchase, to do that we need some specialist equipment, mainly a curing chamber with humidity control that will also double as an amazing centerpiece for our shop, this will cost around £3000 and will double as a cheese maturing chamber.

 

We will also need some special temperature and humidity control equipment fitted into the shop so that we can look after these great products and deliver them to our customers in peak condition, this will cost upwards of £3000.

We promise that every single penny raised will go towards equipment to ensure that we can look after these fantastic products with the level of care and attention that they deserve.
