Our new event The Great 8 is to bring people and communities together in Summer to help raise funds for older residents in Lancashire.
Our new event - The Great 8 is an exciting new event which is fully inclusive to anyone who would like to support older communities in Lancashire.
Running throughout August (the 8th month) think of something you can do with the number 8 and raise funds for Age UK Lancashire.
It could be an 8 mile sponsored event, 80,000 steps in August or a Cake Sale on the 8th day. No matter what your 8 looks like we would love to have you involved.
Age UK Lancashire is part of the national Age UK network, supporting residents of Lancashire access the care and support they need to live a healthier and happier later life. We support thousands of people every year, providing information, supporting them with long term health conditions, access to benefits and much more.
While some of our services are funded, we must fundraise to ensure our other services are still available to those who need us, such as;
